Cadillac Escala- New concept car from Cadillac

The big bold Cadillac is back and that too in style. Cadillac has a concept car named "Escala" in its store and we might see it soon rolling on the road. Though the production is still due as they have three crossovers, a next generation ATS and many more under development but company's brand president Johan De Nysschen in a press release said that, “Escala is a potential addition to our existing product plan” if the market is right. Let’s hope it is.

Escala which means scale in Spanish will be going to have the big bold Cadillac we have seen in the past with the technology which is in development for the next generation of Cadillac.

Escala will be running on the new prototype engine which is being developed by the Cadillac for their next generation cars. It is a 4.2 litre engine which is said to be a dual overhead cam engine with GM's new automatic 10 speed transmission and Active Fuel Management System.

The best thing is it is not like CT-6, its bigger in size almost 210.6 inches in length and with a wheelbase of 127.1 inches just short of Bentley's Mulsanne.

Not only it is beast from the outside but a real beauty from the inside. Interiors have been carefully furnished with fabric used in high end suits. The traditional gauges have been replaced by curved OLED screen developed with Samsung. It will also come with the mascot that were used by Cadillac between 1920s to 1950s-"flying goddess".

It has ample space in its trunk also. The best part is that it is lift-over trunk as in Audi A-7 wrapped in designer fabric.

The best part in the design of Esacala is the car's signature Angular look which is giving a more modern and an aggressive look to the car built on the "omega chassis". This aggressive look is dominated by the OLED lighting
